Well I'm up in Burlington listening to Matt (one of my awesome teachers) talk about the three schools of sociology, conflict, functionalism/structural, and symbolic interactionism.
women's rights movement example:
Conflict: they protested and worked hard to get their rights.
F/s: by use of voice the institution changed and was shifting anyway.
SI: change from individuals because they didn't like how things were, they all got together.
I think I get it :) I'll post about the occupy b-town stuff a little later
Sorry I didn't have good wifi till now :p
